Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is seeking a Doctorate-qualified Audiologist to evaluate and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and related devices. You will perform hearing tests, tinnitus assessments, and patient counseling, with care coordination and documentation in the EHR.

Onsite role at 243 Charles Street, Boston, 40 hours weekly, regular schedule, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Audiology required.
• 1–2 years of audiology or hearing testing experience preferred.
• State license as audiologist required; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cochlear implant evaluations and programming.
• Tinnitus evaluations, counseling, and treatment.
• Monitor patients' progress and ongoing observation of hearing or balance status.
• Fit, dispense, and repair assistive devices such as hearing aids.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on treatment options and continuing care.
• Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
