Job summary

Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, part of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Doctorate-level audiologist to test and fit hearing instruments, interpret tests, and evaluate cochlear implant options.

Responsibilities include patient education, ongoing monitoring, and documentation in electronic health records. Licensure and ASHA CCC-A are required; 1–2 years of experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position in a leading teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Audiology required.
• Audiologist license and ASHA CCC-A required; Basic Life Support preferred.
• 1–2 years of audiology or hearing testing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tinnitus evaluations, counseling, and treatment.
• Monitor patients’ progress and balance/hearing status.
• Fit, dispense, and repair hearing aids and other assistive devices.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on treatment options and ongoing care.
• Research causes and potential treatments for hearing and balance disorders.
• Cochlear implant evaluations and programming.
