Job summary

DARCIE SOOTIN is seeking an Audiologist to perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations and related testing for patients from pediatrics to adults. The role includes hearing aid services, implant evaluations, and patient education in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include conducting specialized tests, counseling on devices, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR. The candidate should hold a doctoral or master’s degree in audiology and an Ohio license or be eligible for licensure

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology (upcoming graduates welcome)
• OH state Audiology license or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Perform audiologic evaluations from pediatrics through adults as ordered by Physician.
• Conduct special tests: ABR, VNG, electrocochleography, VEMP, OAEs as assigned.
• Cochlear implant and BAHA evaluations, activations, mappings, and follow-up care.
• Perform cerumen removal management when appropriate; counsel patients on devices and benefits.
• Document visits in the EMR; maintain instruments and lab supplies.
