Job summary

Androscoggin Valley Hospital (AVH), part of North Country Healthcare, seeks an Audiologist for the ENT & Specialty Services team in Berlin, NH. Flexible to part-time or full-time schedules, with typical outpatient care across the lifespan and collaboration with an experienced ENT surgeon and APPs.

You will perform diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, provide hearing aid services, counseling, and rehab, while contributing to a patient-centered rural health mission and a supportive team

Qualifications

• AuD or Master’s degree in Audiology is required.
• Active or eligible New Hampshire Audiology license is required.
• New Graduates welcome!
• Strong interpersonal communication and patient-education skills are essential.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Comfort working in a rural healthcare setting.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for hearing, balance, and tinnitus disorders using behavioral and objective testing methods.
• Interpret test findings and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Provide hearing aid evaluation, selection, fitting, programming, and follow-up care.
• Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, device options, and communication strategies.
• Provide audiologic rehabilitation including communication training and hearing assistive technology recommendations.
• Manage tinnitus through non-medical approaches.
• Collaborate with ENT providers, neurologists, and physical therapists as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech Expanse EMR.
• Deliver high-quality care aligned with AVH values of compassion, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
