Aria Care Partners seeks an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to provide mobile hearing care to residents in skilled nursing facilities in the Tampa area. The role emphasizes bedside care, accurate diagnoses, and patient-centered service with no sales quotas.

The position offers flexible part-time scheduling and a goal of visiting facilities with a cadence of roughly one day per week, focusing on clinical excellence and compassionate care for seniors.

Qualifications

• Provide hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities (not assisted living).
• Medical-based hearing care including wax removal, tympanometry, hearing tests, and hearing aid dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside hearing care to residents in SNFs with mobile audiology equipment.
• Conduct otoscopic exams and diagnose/treat hearing loss.
• Dispense, program, maintain and repair hearing aids.
• Perform cerumen removal and arrange patient follow-up care options.
• Deliver outstanding customer service in all patient interactions.
• Attend clinics solo and manage charting and notes to facilities.

Description

We are seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our team to provide excellent mobile hearing care to patients in your community skilled nursing facilities!

As an Aria Care Partners’ clinician, your responsibilities include providing bedside clinical care to patients from the disabled to the elderly in skilled nursing facilities. Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of hearing conditions.

Responsibilities

Providing hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities including:

• Conduct otoscopic exams


• Diagnose and treat hearing loss using mobile audiology equipment


• Dispensing, programming, maintaining and repairing hearing aids


• Cerumen removal


• Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options


• Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions


• Attend clinics solo; responsible for all electronic progress note documentation and emailing completed notes to facilities

Requirements

• Providing hearing care to long term residents in skilled nursing facilities – not assisted living.


• Medical Based Hearing Care – wax removal, tympanometry, hearing tests, hearing aid dispenses


• Attend clinics solo, responsible for all charting & sending notes to facilities


• 1-2 homes/day, based on # of residents signed up for our policy


• Arrive at facility to begin clinic at 9 am, our goal is to see approximately 15 patients per facility


• Drive of at least 2-hour drive per clinic day (max 2.5 hours).


• Anything over 3 hours from home (if willing, not required), Aria will cover accommodations for overnight stay and a meal.


• Compensation is daily rate based on experience, plus mileage.


• Candidates must possess a valid driver\'s license and maintain a clean driving record.
