Description

SUMMARY: Responsible for performing diagnostic audiometric testing and interpretation, including comprehensive evaluations, impedance testing, ABR, ENG, fistula testing, OAE, CAP evaluation, ET, Ecoch G, and auditory processing evaluations.

Position Requirements:

• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests
• Counsel patients regarding hearing aids; provide evaluations and fittings
• Order hearing aids and coordinate shipping
• Perform in-house repairs and modifications of hearing aids
• Conduct follow-up consultations and counseling
• Advise on securing assistance for hearing aid purchases
• Monitor equipment condition and coordinate repairs
• Manage supplies and ensure cleanliness of equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctor of Audiology (AuD)
• State license from North Carolina
• National board certification
• Strong written evaluation skills
• Manual dexterity for calibration
• Ability to relate to all ages
• Excellent communication skills
• Unimpaired or corrected hearing
