Role Description

The Audiologist is a full-time or part-time, on-site role based in Phoenixville, PA. The Audiologist will conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, interpret test results, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with varying types of hearing loss. Daily responsibilities include fitting, programming, and adjusting hearing aids, providing tinnitus counseling and sound therapy, and recommending assistive listening devices and custom ear protection. The role involves educating patients and families on hearing loss prevention, documenting clinical findings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed, and maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards. The Audiologist will also contribute to patient follow-up care, device troubleshooting, and ongoing support to ensure optimal hearing outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Clinical audiology skills, including hearing assessments, interpretation of audiograms, and development of individualized treatment plans.
  • Experience with hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, verification, and follow-up care.
  • Knowledge of tinnitus assessment and management, including sound therapy and patient counseling.
  • Ability to recommend and fit assistive listening devices and custom ear protection for diverse patient needs.
  • Strong patient communication, counseling, and education skills, with a focus on compassionate, inclusive care.
  • Attention to detail in documentation, record keeping, and adherence to clinical, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree, and current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an Audiologist in Pennsylvania.
  • Experience in outpatient or private practice settings is beneficial; familiarity with hearing aid manufacturers’ software is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and manage a consistent full-time patient schedule on-site.
