Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our healthcare team five days a week. As an Audiologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for individuals experiencing hearing challenges. This role requires a combination of clinical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering personalized care.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometric tests and other diagnostic tools to identify hearing and balance disorders
  • Patient Consultations: Consult with patients to discuss test results, explain diagnoses, and recommend appropriate treatment options
  • Treatment Planning: Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapeutic interventions
  • Hearing Aid Fittings: Provide expert guidance on selecting, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids for optimal comfort and performance
  • Counseling: Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of advancements in audiology research, technology, and best practices to continuously improve patient care
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program
  • State licensure and certification as an Audiologist
