Position Overview:

High Desert Hearing Center is seeking a patient-focused Audiologist with strong clinical skills to join their established and collaborative team. This role primarily focuses on adult patient care, with one dedicated day each week for pediatric patients.

The provider will deliver comprehensive diagnostic services—including cochlear implant and bone-anchored device evaluations, ABR testing, veteran assessments, and personalized hearing solutions—while following best practices to ensure the highest standard of care, working alongside a team of Audiologists, Audiology Technicians, and Assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations for adults and pediatric patients (approximately 15-20% pediatric caseload, one dedicated day per week).
  • Perform advanced diagnostic testing, including ABR, tympanometry, and vestibular assessments.
  • Conduct cochlear implant and bone-anchored hearing device (BAHA) evaluations, programming, and ongoing management.
  • Provide personalized treatment recommendations, including hearing aid selection, assistive listening devices, and aural rehabilitation.
  • Deliver expert patient counseling with empathy and education to support confident treatment decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
  • Work as part of a supportive and collaborative audiology team.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
  • Current Colorado Audiology License or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience with cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing devices (BAHA) preferred.
