Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a skilled Audiologist to support a growing hearing healthcare practice with 13 locations across Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. You will conduct diagnostic evaluations, recommend technology, and fit/verify devices for adults and some pediatric patients 7+, coordinating care with physicians.

Active NY Audiology license with HA dispensing authority is required; Medicare/Medicaid enrollment is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Flexibility for full-time or part-time schedules.
• Experience with adult patients; pediatric 7+ helpful.

Job description

A well-established, privately owned hearing healthcare practice is seeking an Audiologist to support its growing network of 13 established locations across Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Rather than operating from retail storefronts, the practice's clinics are located within established medical centers, providing a consistent flow of physician referrals and an established patient base.

Providers have the opportunity to work from locations that best align with their preferred geographic area and commuting distance while enjoying a collaborative healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Overview:

The Audiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing-aid consultations, fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care for primarily adult patients and occasional pediatric patients ages seven and up.

Practice locations are available throughout Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island, with assignments based on provider preference and commuting distance whenever feasible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations
  
• Recommend hearing technology based on each patient's hearing loss, communication needs, and lifestyle
  
• Fit, program, verify, and troubleshoot hearing aids
  
• Provide counseling and follow-up care, including cleanings, adjustments, and maintenance
  
• Perform cerumen management, where permitted
  
• Collaborate with physicians and medical office staff to provide an exceptional patient experience
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree
  
• Active New York Audiology license with hearing aid dispensing authority
  
• Medicare and Medicaid enrollment preferred (or ability to obtain)
  
• Comfortable discussing hearing technology and making treatment recommendations
  
• Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
