Matrix Providers is hiring an Audiologist to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Durango, CO.

Position Details

• Employment Status: Part Time
• Compensation: $50.00 - $55.62 per hour, paid bi-weekly
• Schedule: Monday & Tuesday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
• Benefits: Competitive package, including 401(k) plan

Responsibilities

• Review pertinent medical history documentation.
• Conduct one-time, non-treatment audiology compensation and pension exams for Veterans.
• Capture responses during the exam through a web‑based examination form and complete all documentation electronically.
• Perform comprehensive audio exams to assess hearing loss or tinnitus, including pure tone air and bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex, and speech recognition testing.
• Use on‑site equipment and custom soundproof booths provided.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Audiologist license.
• Master's or doctoral degree from a program accredited by CAA, ACAE, or ASHA certification.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
• Basic computer skills.
• Fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines.
• Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus.
