Job summary

UVM Medical Center in Vermont is seeking a licensed Audiologist to provide direct diagnostic testing, counseling and rehabilitation for patients of all ages. The role is primarily outpatient with inpatient support as needed.

Requires Master’s or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology, and either ASHA CCC-A or ABA certification, plus state licensure; some positions may require a Hearing Aid Dispensing License. A sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology.
• CCC-A from ASHA or ABA Certification required.
• Current state licensure in Audiology required; Hearing Aid Dispensing License may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct audiological services to patients of all ages.
• Perform diagnostic testing, counseling and rehabilitation.
• Deliver services primarily in outpatient settings with inpatient support as needed.

Job Description

The clinical Audiologist is responsible for providing direct audiological services to patients in all age groups, including diagnostic testing, counseling and rehabilitation. These services are offered primarily in the outpatient setting and inpatient as needed.

Education

Master's Degree or Clinical Doctorate in Audiology. Must have either a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. (ASHA) or have American Board of Audiology (ABA) Certification. Must possess or be eligible for current state licensure in Audiology. Certain positions may also require a Hearing Aid Dispensing License. Certifications must be maintained throughout tenure.

Experience

Some experience in medical setting preferred.
