Job summary

The Holland Hearing Center in Abilene is seeking a licensed Audiologist for a full-time role. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat hearing disorders, and fit and dispense hearing aids in a collaborative clinic setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive testing, patient counseling, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA while staying current with hearing aid technology. A Texas audiology license and CCC-A are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology required.
• Current Texas audiology license required.
• CCC-A certification preferred; licensure to fit and dispense hearing aids in Texas.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and diagnostic testing.
• Interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding hearing loss and prevention.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.

This role is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating hearing disorders, as well as fitting and dispensing hearing aids.The Audiologist plays a key role in improving patients’ quality of life through compassionate care, clinical expertise, and education on hearing health and prevention.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Evaluation & Care* Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and diagnostic testing* Interpret test results and develop individualized treatment plans* Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding hearing loss, treatment options, and preventionHearing Aid Services* Fit, program, and dispense hearing aids and assistive listening devices* Perform follow-up care, adjustments, and troubleshooting* Ensure proper documentation and patient instruction for device useClinical Operations & Documentation* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records* Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations, including HIPAA* Support clinic workflow, scheduling coordination, and patient communication as neededProfessional & Community Engagement* Maintain strong communication with referring physicians and support ongoing professional relationships* Participate in community outreach, education, and marketing events as needed* Stay current with advancements in audiology and hearing aid technologyPractice Support & Improvement* Identify opportunities to improve clinic operations, workflow, and overall patient experience* Contribute to a positive, efficient, and team-oriented work environment* Perform additional duties as assignedQualifications* Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology* Current licensure to practice Audiology in the State of Texas* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) preferred* Licensed to fit and dispense hearing aids in the State of Texas* Strong communication and patient care skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a teamApplication InstructionsPlease include a brief note on why you would be a good fit for this role when applying.
