Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking an Audio/Visual Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain AV systems across casino facilities. You will support video and audio setups for events and meetings, manage inventory, and assist in back-of-house AV and conference rooms.

Candidate must be comfortable with flexible hours, on-call rotation, and a strong focus on guest service. Experience in AV setup, signal flow, and IT network infrastructure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of Audio/Visual experience.
• Technical degree or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and provide end-user support for AV equipment and control systems.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot video and audio systems.
• Maintain AV inventory and assist in back-of-house AV in conference/training rooms.
• Support event systems, entertainment systems, and marketing/media systems.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Install , troubleshoot, repair, and provide end-user support for Audio Visual equipment and Audio Visual control systems; including peripherals, PC's, speakers, TVs , LED Walls, amplifiers, RF equipment, Ethernet hardware, cabling systems, control system hardware and AV related software
• Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot video and audio systems
• Maintain AV equipment inventory; replacements and/or inventory requests
• Maintain and assist in all back-of-house A/V including conference rooms and training rooms
• Assist and advise o n special event systems support, entertainment systems, back of house AV systems, as well as marketing and media systems
• This is a non-uniformed position, which requires the team member to be in compliance with non-uniformed appearance standards while on duty
• Work flexible hours including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays including but not limited to participating in the on-call rotation program
• Ensuring the safety and security of all guests, clients, entertainers and team members/employees
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience in audio / video setup and maintenance
• Knowledge of signal flow for audio and video
• Knowledge of IT Network Infrastructure
• Ability to install new and maintain existing hardware
• Strong guest service skills
• Communicate effectively and efficiently
• Advanced knowledge of Audio Visual and AV control systems
• Experience with QSys , Crestron , ETC, Mosaic, Paradigm, and/or Analog Way preferred
• Excellent technical, problem solving, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills

A Few Must Haves

• Education: Technical degree or certification preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Audio / Visual
• Excellent technical, problem solving, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
• Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.
