Job summary

Next Level Technician in Houston, TX seeks an AV Technician to install and service commercial AV systems. Expect 2+ years of experience, hands-on work with AV cabling, and travel across the Houston area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial AV installation experience.
• Experience with AV system installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Camera system experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks.
• Certifications such as BICSI or OSHA are a plus.
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX, or Biamp is a plus.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Houston area.

AV Technician - Audio Visual Systems | Houston, TX Join Next Level Technician as an AV Technician in Houston, TX! Earn $22-32/hr, enjoy weekly pay, benefits, and steady work with a national leader in low voltage staffing.

Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, and test AV cabling, including HDMI, audio, and CAT6/6A
• Install AV systems in conference rooms, huddle spaces, training rooms, and commercial environments
• Mount and install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers, cameras, and other AV equipment
• Rack and wire AV systems, patch panels, and headend equipment
• Troubleshoot and service existing AV systems
• Work with commercial camera and video systems
• Read and interpret AV system blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Work safely on ladders/lifts and be comfortable with heights
• Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites
• Travel throughout the Houston area to various job sites as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years of commercial AV installation experience
• Experience with AV system installation, integration, and troubleshooting
• Camera system experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of telecom and data networks
• Experience with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Biamp, or similar systems is a plus
• BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications are a plus
• Manufacturer certifications are a plus
• Basic hand tools and PPE required
• Willingness to travel throughout the Houston area as needed
