Job DetailsJob Location: Lincoln, CA 95648Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Information TechnologyThe Audio/Visual Technician II is responsible for the delivery of Audio/Visual equipment and services to all information technology customers. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:

• Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
• Deliver audio/visual services to customers including setting-up, testing, and operation of equipment.
• Maintain daily work schedule throughout workday by monitoring adjustments to audio/visual equipment in customer areas and meeting rooms.
• Properly transport equipment from meeting rooms and event locations to dedicated storage locations with respect to time constraints and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate record of usage of equipment and materials by customers and deliver that information to the Audio/Visual Manager.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to diagnose audio/visual equipment problems. Provide guidance to less experienced Audio/Visual Technicians in regards to troubleshooting techniques.
• Actively monitor the problem management database to ensure that all customer requests are handled in a timely and accurate fashion. Review requests and contact customers to clarify requests ensuring that all requests are handled in an efficient manner.
• Provide full range audio/visual support in planning, coordinating, and implementing logistics for daily meetings, conferences, board meetings, and special projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inventory of all audio/visual equipment.
• Maintain current professional and technical knowledge by completing departmental training requirements and participating in external training opportunities.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years audio/visual experience in a hotel and conference environment.
• Three (3) years of experience of commercial audio, video, and videoconferencing systems.
• Hands-on experience with general wiring, rack building, general and specific assembly, and electronic testing.
• High school diploma or equivalent education required.
• Working technical knowledge of systems and system operations and infrastructure.
• Professional customer service and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, user community, fellow Team Members, vendors, and the general public.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulatory requirements.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. Must be able to manage several different tasks at once.
• Must be capable of working effectively under pressure and time constraints.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain UAIC Tribal Gaming License.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires normal or corrective vision, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, symbols, equipment indicators, and visual displays.
• Ability to lift, maneuver, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk continuously for two (2) hours or more.
• Ability to use, carry, position, and transport job-related tools and audio/visual equipment.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate, connect, configure, install, and maintain job-related equipment.
• Ability to crouch, kneel, bend, push, turn, reach, carry, and pull while performing job duties.
• Ability to work in dimly lit conditions and in environments that may be noisy or contain secondhand smoke.
