Job summary

CTI is seeking an AV Service Specialist in Hayward, CA to troubleshoot and tune up real-world AV systems across spaces built on Crestron, Extron, Biamp, AMX and more.

You will respond to service calls, diagnose complex issues in displays, audio, video conferencing, and control systems, and perform preventative maintenance to keep systems at peak performance. A strong customer-service mindset and 4+ years in commercial AV are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience with commercial AV integration installations, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong customer-service focus and ability to act as the face of CTI with clients.
• Associate degree preferred but not required; experience can compensate.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer service calls for installed AV systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV issues across displays, audio, video walls, conferencing platforms, and control systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate at optimum levels.
• Work with Programmers to load updated files and provide clear documentation and ticketing updates.
• Provide customer-facing support and assist with related tasks as needed.
