Audio-Visual Event Technician II

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education. We are actively looking for an Audio-Visual Event Technician II to set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for events that are on and offsite. This position would be located at our Naples, FL facility, but would include 20-30% travel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for setup, operation, and strike of audio, video, and lighting equipment during events, studio productions, and tradeshow exhibits
  • Selects and coordinates technical equipment rental and labor used during off-site events or video productions
  • Maintains a positive relationship with meeting hosts and planners through effective communication
  • Monitors events and checks in on them throughout the day
  • Meets with meeting requestors on-site to ensure their needs are met and equipment is set up and working correctly.
  • Responsible for the routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting of equipment
  • Responsible for level one user support and troubleshooting for all the audio-visual equipment in the meeting and conference rooms around the Arthrex campus as well as off-site labs
  • Some travel is required for select offsite events and tradeshow exhibits.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years of related experience or Associates Degree and 2 years of related experience required
  • Certifications: Dante Level 1, 2 & 3
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of concepts and principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of sound, video, and lighting equipment.
