We are looking for an Audio Visual Electronics Installation Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. You will be part of a team designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services, including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform technical tasks in field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of audiovisual equipment and systems.
  2. Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support.
  3. Install and construct permanent AV systems, terminate and test cables, and assist junior technicians.
  4. Manage network configurations, troubleshoot programmable components, and communicate effectively with teams and clients.
  5. Lead by example, mentor team members, and contribute to resource planning.

This list is not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Requirement: Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance, subject to a government security investigation.

Education:

  • HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), or
  • Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program, plus 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.

Experience:

  • 6+ years in electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems and clients.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Certifications: Vendor certifications in IDS, CCTV, access control systems, and experience with security systems and OSHA 30 certification preferred.
