Position Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. In this role, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audiovisual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic systems and equipment, ensuring functionality and reliability.
  2. Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
  3. Follow safety plans and policies, participate in quality reviews, and ensure project documentation is complete.
  4. Manage tools, materials, and inventory; conduct safety meetings and incident reports.
  5. Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, and panels according to standards.
  6. Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices and network equipment.
  7. Lead commissioning efforts, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high-quality testing and installation.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders, demonstrating leadership and collaboration.
  9. Mentor crew members and promote strategic thinking and innovation.
  10. Plan manpower, materials, and resources for upcoming assignments.

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Education:

  • HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training, Electronics Technician program, or Electrical Apprenticeship, with 3+ years of related experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems, and experience with relevant operating systems.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Physical and Abilities Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights up to 60 feet, and perform physical tasks including climbing, crawling, and reaching.
