Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting or Audio Production and at least two years of professional audio experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting or Audio Production with 2+ years of professional audio recording experience.
• Able to move/lift/carry equipment up to 40 pounds; work standing/sitting for extended periods.
• Work in a deadline-driven, efficient and positive environment.
• Strong computer, oral communications, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and overnight travel.
• Professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Operate audio systems to create high quality programs for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Provide audio recording services under Producers, including mic placement, sound monitoring, and mixing.
• Act as audio board operator on live and recorded studio multi-camera productions.
• Assist as grip and lighting assistant; drive/clean production vehicles as needed.
• Operate studio and field cameras for live and recorded productions as needed.
• Collaborate with Producers and Directors to achieve KET production goals and editorial vision.
