Our client is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Audio Technician to support live events and productions throughout Central Pennsylvania. This role focuses on event setup, sound operation, and breakdown for weddings, private events, fundraisers, trivia nights, and venue entertainment.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys live events, understands sound fundamentals, and takes pride in professional execution.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and break down sound equipment for live events
- Assist with microphones, speakers, mixers, and basic lighting
- Monitor sound levels and adjust as needed during events
- Troubleshoot basic audio issues quickly and calmly
- Load, unload, and transport equipment safely
- Support DJs, hosts, and event leads during execution
- Maintain clean, organized equipment and cabling
What We’re Looking For
- Basic to intermediate experience with live sound or event audio
- Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and working on your feet
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Punctual, professional, and calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus
- DJ or live sound equipment
- Mixers, microphones, speakers, and signal flow
- Event production, weddings, or venue work
- Software such as Serato, Virtual DJ, or similar (not required)
