Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Product Design Engineering Program Manager to oversee the mechanical components of an Audio Product Design team. You will drive engineering, development planning and validation cycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams and executive management.

The role requires shaping architecture, baselining features, budgeting, and managing technical risk while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years leading program management or mechanical design.
• Experience shipping high-volume products with CM partners.
• Deep understanding of product development cycles and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support product definition and drive closure of architecture and technical opens in early stages of a project.
• Establish and manage program baseline, scheduling, budget, critical paths, and technology risk.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks with impacted teams to drive closure.
• Enable development by creating and monitoring an efficient process.
• Drive drawings releases and tooling kickoff with PD Eng and vendors to meet schedules.
• Plan and execute prototype builds by directing OEM partners.
• Lead cross-functional communication between project teams and external vendors.
• Drive day-to-day activities to meet project objectives and run stakeholder meetings.
