ElevenLabs is seeking an Audio Engineering Lead to guide a talented team of engineers, refine custom voices, and ensure top‑tier audio quality for client projects across the ElevenLabs platform. The role combines hands‑on engineering with mentorship in a fast‑paced, AI‑driven environment.

You will train staff on best practices, translate client requirements into actionable voice design, join customer calls, and support productions across global time zones from remote locations or our offices in

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in audio engineering, sound design, mixing/mastering, or related fields.
• Experience working directly with clients, creative teams, or technical stakeholders.
• Strong proficiency with DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Reaper, Logic, Ableton).
• Deep intuition for voice characteristics, timbre, clarity, and performance nuance.
• Ability to translate ambiguous customer needs into clear audio and voice-design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of talented Audio Engineers.
• Create, refine, and iterate on custom voices for ElevenLabs customer using different techniques.
• Clean, edit, and prepare customer audio to ensure optimal cloning and generation quality.
• Provide hands‑on training and technical guidance on ElevenLabs tools and best practices.
• Join customer calls, support creative direction, and act as a fractional audio engineer for their workflows.

Productions is the 'done for you' managed services wing of ElevenLabs made for creators and media businesses. We bring together our AI audio tools and human experts to unlock human-edited dubs, audiobooks, and more in 15+ languages directly on the ElevenLabs platform.
