GBH seeks a versatile Freelance Audio Engineer (Post-Production & Studio Operations) to deliver high-quality sound for broadcast and digital projects. You will edit, mix, and design sound using Pro Tools, while supporting studio operations and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in audio post-production, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to varied assignments. This is a hybrid role based in Boston with some on-site work.

The GBH Production Group oversees GBH production and post-production operations and is comprised of two divisions: GBH Studios which manage and staff studio and EFP production, Fraser Studio operations, GBH public spaces, and the remote studio at Boston Public Library. GBH OutPost, which provides post-production services, including color-grading and online, audio mixing and sweetening, sound booth recording, and duplication/encoding operations.
We are seeking a versatile Freelance NABET Audio Engineer to join our team. Primary responsibilities focus on audio post-production utilizing Pro Tools for both internal GBH productions and external client projects. In addition to post-production, this role involves cross-functional support for studio operations and basic technical maintenance.
