Job summary

4Wall is seeking an Audio Department Technician to join its team in a fast-paced entertainment environment. You will maintain, repair, and quality-control speakers, amps, microphones, and mixers, including Dante networks, while ensuring gear is prepped before orders and returned to the shop in prime condition.

The ideal candidate should have strong computer skills, troubleshoot audio systems, and build setups based on show specs. Experience in A/V and Entertainment Lighting is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot audio gear.
• Ability to build audio systems based on show specs.
• Know-how to set up, strike and operate all Audio gear.
• Experience in A/V and Entertainment Lighting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and quality check speakers, amps, microphones, digital/analog mixers, and Dante networks.
• Inspect and prep gear before shows and upon return to the shop.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down gear for events and orders.
• Support the Audio department during installations and live events.

Audio Department Technician

We are looking for a Audio Department Technician to come join the 4Wall team!

What you will be doing:

While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and quality control of speakers, amps, microphones, digital and analog mixers, com systems, and DANTE networks. This includes inspecting and prepping gear before going out on orders and likewise when returning to the Shop.

What you bring to the table:

Our ideal candidate will have good computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair audio systems issues, ability to build audio systems based off the specs of a show, knowledge of how to set up, strike and operate all gear within the Audio department, and experience in A/V & Entertainment Lighting industry is strongly preferred.
