Job summary

4Wall Europe in Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time warehouse/field technician to support equipment rentals for major events. You will check in/out orders, scan barcodes, and record quantities in RentalWorks, while keeping motors, rigging, and power distribution gear certified and serviced.

You should have experience with theatrical rigging equipment or electric motors, strong troubleshooting and repair skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has experience with theatrical rigging equipment or electric motors.
• Good troubleshooting and repair skills are required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without supervision.
• Ability to lift 75–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out orders, scan equipment barcodes, and enter quantity counts in RentalWorks.
• Clean, organize, test, troubleshoot and keep updated certifications on motors, controls, rigging, and power distribution equipment.
• Perform general repair and maintenance of equipment.
• Prepare equipment for orders.

What you will be doing:

While every day is different at 4Wall, you will be responsible for checking in and out orders including scanning equipment barcodes and entering quantity count data in RentalWorks; cleaning, organizing, testing, troubleshooting and keeping updated certifications on motors, controls, rigging, and power distribution systems and equipment; general repair and maintenance of the equipment; and preparing/prepping equipment for orders.

What you bring to the table:

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience with theatrical rigging equipment or electric motors, good troubleshooting and repair skills, the ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment without supervision, and the ability to lift 75-100 lbs.
