Semafor is seeking an experienced Contract Audience Developer to support audience development and event execution for Semafor World Economy, our flagship global convening in Washington, D.C. You will own RSVP tracking, recruitment, and on-site readiness to ensure attendees meet the event brief.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in audience development for high-profile business events, strong copywriting skills, and proficiency with CRM systems and registration platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in audience development for large business events.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audience development from planning through execution.
• Excellent judgment in curating senior executive and business audiences.
• Strong copywriting skills for professional event invitations and communications.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, event registration platforms, spreadsheets, and CMS tools.
• Ability to manage registration pipelines, capacity targets, and deadlines.
• Highly organized and able to own multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating across editorial, commercial, marketing, and operations teams.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute audience acquisition plans for Semafor World Economy events.
• Build and curate invitation lists, align audience recruitment with editorial priorities.
• Draft invitation copy and registration messaging, manage communications.
• Coordinate with design for invitations and assets, oversee distribution and follow-ups.
• Manage event website content, registration pages, and RSVP workflows.
