Job summary

Audi Seattle is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles in the Service Department. You will work closely with the Service Manager and team to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 1 year in automotive repair; ASE and brand certifications are a plus, and candidates must be able to supply their own tools. We offer a family-oriented environment and competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair assignments correctly in the specified timeframe, ensuring repairs pass quality inspections and test drives.
• Diagnose and corrects mechanical and electrical problems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals which may include other teammates and customers as required.
• Uses manuals, computer systems, and technical bulletins to complete the repair order.
• Stays up to date on the latest technical services and information relevant to the Automotive Technician role through trainings and campaigns.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area; performs preventative maintenance and repairs on dealership tools and equipment.
• Adheres to safety regulations and company policies; coordinates with parts to ensure availability and proper disposal of parts.
• Promotes the dealership by presenting a professional image and positive attitude; supports staff and customers.
• Works collaboratively with customers and teammates; provides technical assistance as needed.
• Expected to complete and maintain factory certification and trainings as directed.

• Promotes the dealership by always presenting a professional image and positive attitude; demonstrates commitmenttoother staff,customers,dealership,andcompany.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external customers/provides technical assistance and support toteammembersas needed.
• Expected to complete and maintain factory certification and factory trainings as directed and in the timeframe established by their direct supervisor.

Requirements
