Job summary

RB Global Inc. is seeking a part-time Yard Crew Member to support auction yard operations and daily site activities. You will assist with equipment check-in, staging, tagging, and release, while providing on-site customer service and driving support during auctions.

The role requires safety focus, teamwork, and flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather, including evenings and weekends during auction periods. Training and safety certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license; class may vary by location/role.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate light/heavy equipment; training provided.
• Customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Willingness to perform physical outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, evenings and weekends during auction periods.
• Experience in yard operations, equipment handling, or auction environments.
• Knowledge of farming, construction, or industrial equipment.
• Experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Check in, stage, tag, and release equipment for auctions.
• Safely operate light and heavy equipment per standards.
• Assist customers on-site and provide sale-day support.
• Maintain site cleanliness and groundskeeping; operate support vehicles.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; report hazards.
• Collaborate with yard management, operations staff, and inspection teams.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement while upholding company values.
