Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring for a Removal Check In/Out Clerk in Rock Hill, SC. The role involves on-site scanning of customers and items during pickup, ensuring smooth queues and accurate item handoffs. The team strives to provide exemplary service to every bidder.

The position requires staying organized, following directions, and maintaining a friendly, customer-focused approach while supporting the Removal Team Lead. Prior HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be customer-focused.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to follow written directions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan each customer’s email or phone code using the scan device as they arrive at the warehouse.
• Explain to each customer that doing this puts them in the queue, so they can check out after they have picked up their items.
• Scan each customer’s auction items when picked up.
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
