Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. in Manheim, PA, seeks a Vehicle Shuttle Driver to safely move, stage and park vehicles on auctions property and transport them between lots and customer sites.

The role follows a Tue-Sat 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule with pay at $15.27 per hour. Duties include driving through auction lanes, assisting customers, and supporting safety programs; overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Must stand, walk, reach, talk and hear regularly.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending and climbing may be required.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision required: close, distance, color, depth and focus.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles as directed and locate lost vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating; inflate tires and jump start as needed.
• Notify supervisor if a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Model safety and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
