Job summary

Cox Enterprises in Manheim, PA is seeking a reliable vehicle shuttle/ground staff member to safely move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property, drive units to lots and customer sites, and navigate sale lanes on designated days.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 15 pounds, and endure outdoor conditions; schedule Tuesday through Saturday 8 am to 4:30 pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers needed; a valid driver’s license required
• Constantly required to enter and exit vehicles
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
• Ability to walk long distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, squatting, and climbing frequently required
• Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
• Vision abilities include close, distance, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days in a safe manner
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to customer dealerships and businesses while observing driving rules
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed
• Assist with getting vehicles operating; inflate tires and jump start as needed
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed
• Observe safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• May work overtime as required by business needs
