Job summary

Cox is seeking a vehicle mover to ensure safe moving, staging, and parking of vehicles on Auction property. You will drive to Auction lots and customer businesses, and guide vehicles through sale lanes on designated sale days in compliance with safety rules and regulations.

Shift is Mon-Fri between 8am and 4:30pm (max 20hrs weekly). Must hold a valid driver’s license; good physical stamina; ability to walk long distances; outdoor work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days in a safe manner.
• Move vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader; locate lost vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed and report inoperative or low-fuel issues.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
