Job summary

Cox Automotive in Matteson, IL is seeking a Vehicle Operations Aide to move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property and drive vehicles to sale lanes on designated days. The role involves safe operation, adherence to driving rules, and assisting customers and staff.

The position supports vehicle movement across lots, helps with basic operating checks, and participates in safety programs. Compensation is USD 17.60 per hour with potential for additional incentives.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers with valid license and the ability to enter/exit vehicles regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, and maneuver vehicles for extended periods.
• Good communication and courtesy when assisting customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale days safely.
• Drive vehicles to/from designated areas on premises and to customer dealerships, observing rules.
• Line up and park vehicles in correct order; locate lost vehicles.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating; inflate tires and jump start if needed; report issues.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Demonstrate safety and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
