Job summary

Cox Automotive in Riverside, CA is seeking a Vehicle Courtesy Driver to move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property and drive them to auction lanes and customer sites. The role requires safe operation, adherence to driving rules, and strong customer service during busy sale days.

Responsibilities include vehicle movement, basic maintenance assistance, and helping customers and teammates. Overtime may be required; a valid driver’s license and the ability to walk long distances are

Qualifications

Safe driving required and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Ability to walk long distances.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
Vision capabilities include close, distance, color vision, depth perception and focus.

Responsibilities

Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on premises and to and from customer dealerships, observing rules and safety practices.
Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed, move vehicles as needed, locate lost vehicles.
Assist with getting vehicles operating: inflate tires, jump start vehicles, notify supervisor if inoperative.
Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
