This role combines outbound business development, inbound sales, account management, and coordination with APAA's operational teams to maintain an active sales pipeline, close qualified opportunities, and deliver a professional client experience.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Proactively identify, prospect, and engage potential clients to generate new business and consignment opportunities.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales inquiries received through phone, email, online platforms, referrals, and other lead sources.
  • Schedule and conduct client consultations, site visits, and meetings to evaluate opportunities and develop business relationships.
  • Present APAA's auction services, processes, capabilities, and value proposition accurately and professionally.
  • Negotiate and close qualified consignor relationships in accordance with established company guidelines and approval requirements.
  • Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline while consistently working toward established sales, revenue, and performance goals.
  • Track and manage assigned client accounts, ensuring timely communication, follow-through, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients regarding expectations, timelines, consigned assets, project progress, and next steps.
  • Coordinate with the Sales Manager, leadership, and internal departments to ensure client expectations align with operational capabilities and timelines.
  • Collaborate with department managers on pre-brief planning, post-project debriefs, and reconciliation for off-site projects.
  • Oversee and coordinate off-site projects, including estate sales, business liquidations, large-scale consignments, and other client projects as assigned.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to support the effective promotion of client assets and upcoming auction initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and organized CRM records documenting prospects, client interactions, sales activity, agreements, project status, closed business, and other information necessary for sales and commission reporting.
  • Maintain strong client relationships that support repeat business, referrals, and APAA's long-term reputation.
  • Perform other duties and projects for APAA as assigned.
Supervisory Role

This position does not have regular direct reports. The Auction Account Executive may provide project-specific coordination, oversight, or direction to employees, contractors, vendors, or off-site teams when supporting client projects.
