Job summary

University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point seeks a Program Director for the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program. This full-time, salaried academic-year role leads curriculum development, accreditation efforts, and budget management within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders.

The candidate will guide strategic program growth, engage in community partnerships, and promote innovative teaching and evidence-based, person-centered practice across campus and professional networks.

Qualifications

• Aud­iol­o­gist with an active unencumbered license in Wisconsin or license eligible in WI (must be licensed in WI within 6 months of hire).
• Earned clinical or academic doctoral degree with major emphasis in audiology or hearing science.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A).
• Familiarity with CAA accreditation requirements and/or experience with other accreditation/regulatory agencies.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills to foster a collaborative, innovative team.
• Proven educator in an entry-level audiology accredited Au.D. program.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary and strategic leadership to implement a new Au.D. graduate program.
• Oversee curriculum development, accreditation processes, compliance, and budget management.
• Represent the program within the university and professional community.
• Promote innovation in teaching, scholarship, and clinical partnerships.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that prepares graduates for evidence-based practice.
