Job summary

Apex Entertainment in Virginia Beach is seeking enthusiastic Attraction Attendants to join our team. You will help guests enjoy safe, memorable experiences and ensure proper harnessing and adherence to attraction rules.

Responsibilities include safety checks, guiding guests, managing flow, and delivering outstanding service with a positive, energetic attitude. Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to stand 4-10 hours with an energetic, welcoming attitude.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Experience in amusement or attraction operations is a plus.

• Maintain a strong understanding of attraction requirements, safety procedures, and proper guest usage.
• Complete safety checks, including inspecting harnesses and restraints before each use.
• Regularly examine equipment for wear and tear and promptly report concerns.
• Welcome guests warmly and ensure proper harnessing, attire, and understanding of attraction rules.
• Assist guests throughout their experience, offering guidance and cheering them on.
• Verify that children meet required height and age guidelines.
• Provide friendly and efficient assistance as guests enter and exit attractions.
• Manage guest flow to keep attractions running smoothly and safely.
• Follow all operational and maintenance procedures using provided equipment and training.
• Uphold safety standards and enforce attraction rules.
• Deliver outstanding service reflecting Apex Entertainment's values.
• Multitask with a calm, upbeat presence and take on additional tasks as assigned.

Attraction Operations

• Manage guest flow efficiently to keep attractions running smoothly and safely.

• Follow all operational and maintenance procedures using provided equipment and training.

• Uphold all safety standards and consistently enforce attraction rules.

Exceptional Guest Service

• Deliver outstanding service that reflects Apex Entertainment's values.

• Multitask effectively while maintaining a calm, upbeat presence.

• Take on additional tasks as assigned to support overall operations.

Requirements
