Job summary

Fun Land of Fredericksburg in Centreville, VA is seeking Attractions Part Time staff. You will help guests create unforgettable moments by delivering friendly service and maintaining safety standards on outdoor rides and games.

The role requires being over 16, available for part-time shifts, and the ability to lift and stand for long periods while following all SOPs for attractions. Training is provided and teamwork is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be over 16 years old.
• Open availability for part-time shifts.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, bend and stand for long periods.
• Ability to follow General Operating Procedures and SOPs for attractions.
• Strong guest service and positive communication.
• Knowledge of go-kart procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service while upholding safety standards.
• Follow all operating procedures for attractions.
• Communicate with guests using eye contact, verbal cues, and body language.
• Follow directions of on-duty Controller.
• Work with multiple crew members in a collaborative manner.
• Be prepared to work outdoors in hot or cold weather.
• Meet performance evaluations based on above requirements.

Attraction Operators must help our guests create unforgettable moments by delivering excellent guest service while following safety standards. Must also be able to meet the following criteria:

• Follow all General Operating Procedures
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures for attractions
• Effectively communicate with guests in a positive manner through eye contact, verbal communication, and body language
• Follow directions of designated Controller on duty
• Lift, run, push, pull, bend, and stand for long periods of time
• Successfully demonstrate knowledge of standard operating procedures for go-karts

Conditions and Environments:

• Work with multiple crew members in a collaborative and positive manner
• Work outside in hot and cold weather

Evaluation of Performance and Employment:

• Evaluated regularly through assessment of above requirements. This may be done verbally or written.
• Meeting above requirements will be mandatory for continued employment
