Key Responsibilities:

• Handle legal matters independently, including legal research, drafting, negotiations, litigation strategy, or complex transactional work.
• Provide counsel to clients across a variety of industries and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to client development efforts.
• Maintain strong communication and long-term relationships with clients.
• Estate & Succession Planning Legal Assistant (Troy office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in the Estate and Succession Planning practice group.
• Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, deeds, and powers of attorney.
• Coordinate estate plan signings and maintain client binders and digital files.
• Communicate with clients, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries; manage attorney calendars.
• Could you assist with probate pleadings and document assembly?

Qualifications (vary by role):

• J.D. and licensure in Michigan (or eligibility) for attorney roles.
• Prior legal experience in relevant practice area(s) required.
• Strong drafting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• For legal assistant roles, experience in estate planning or probate support is preferred.
