Karlin Hiura & LaSota in California is seeking an Attorney specializing in Workers' Compensation Defense to protect clients' interests in a remote, collaborative setting that supports professional growth.

You will represent clients from the initial claim to resolution, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, attend hearings and depositions, and maintain proactive client communication. Requires a JD, CA Bar in good standing, and 3+ years of workers' compensation defense.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar license in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in workers' compensation defense cases from initial claim to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Attend hearings and depositions to advocate for clients effectively.
• Analyze case facts and develop strategic defense plans tailored to each case.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive case management.
• Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation laws and regulations.
