We Are Revolution, a California litigation boutique, seeks an experienced insurance-defense attorney to own cases, stand up in court, and take first-chair responsibility when required. The firm prides itself on a genuine trial pedigree and handling multi-million-dollar defense outcomes.

The role offers hybrid work with about 2 days in the office each week, up to a $350,000 salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to lead, advise, and litigate through verdicts with an established trial

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Trial experience is essential.
• Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to own cases and stand in court when required.

Responsibilities

• Own cases and take first-chair responsibility when required.
• Develop litigation strategy and manage files through verdict.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions.
• Handle pleadings, written discovery and substantive legal research.
• Prepare witnesses and work directly with clients, carriers and experts.
• Handle hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations.
• Independently assess exposure, liability and resolution strategy.
• Manage insurance defense litigation from inception through verdict or resolution.
• Serve as first chair at trial when required.

I’m working with an established California litigation boutique with a genuine trial pedigree, including teams that have handled extensive stretches of active trial work and secured complete defense outcomes in substantial, high-exposure litigation.

This is a role for an attorney who can do more than manage discovery and write motions. They want somebody who is comfortable owning cases, standing up in court and taking first-chair responsibility when required.

• Join a team with a documented history of achieving complete defense outcomes in multi-million-dollar litigation
• Significant exposure to complex construction, professional liability, general liability and insurance-related matters
• Flexibility around billable expectations can potentially be considered where appropriate
• Work alongside experienced trial attorneys rather than spending years waiting for meaningful courtroom exposure
• Manage insurance defense litigation from inception through verdict or resolution
• Develop litigation strategy and take meaningful ownership of active files
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions
• Handle pleadings, written discovery and substantive legal research
• Prepare witnesses and work directly with clients, carriers and experts
• Handle hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
• Serve as first chair at trial when required
