We Are Legal Revolution in Houston, TX is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join a national platform offering ownership of cases, meaningful deposition experience and genuine opportunities to get into the courtroom early. The role handles medical malpractice, construction, general liability, auto and trucking matters, with hybrid work and a compensation package up to $215,000 DOE plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation/insurance defense experience.
• Strong experience in medical malpractice, construction, general liability, auto liability or trucking liability.
• Consideration for premises liability, products liability, commercial litigation, workers’ compensation, or insurance coverage backgrounds.
• Hands-on experience ahead of class year may be considered for more junior candidates.
• Looking for greater responsibility, trial exposure and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Take meaningful ownership of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.

I’m working with a rapidly growing national litigation firm that gives associates something a lot of defense practices talk about but rarely deliver — real ownership of cases, meaningful deposition experience and genuine opportunities to get into the courtroom early.

This is not a role where you spend years sitting behind senior attorneys waiting for responsibility.

The team is looking for an Insurance Defense Attorney who wants autonomy, sophisticated work and the backing of a major nationwide defense platform with offices across the country and an established record of taking cases through trial.

The Role:

• Take meaningful ownership of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
• Handle litigation across areas including medical malpractice, construction, general liability, automobile and trucking liability
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery and substantive case strategy
• Take and defend depositions, including involvement with experts and key witnesses
• Attend hearings, mediations and other court proceedings
• Prepare matters for trial and gain real courtroom exposure rather than remaining permanently behind the scenes

About You:

• Ideally 3+ years of litigation / insurance defense experience
• Strong experience in one or more of: Medical malpractice; Construction; General liability; Auto liability; Trucking liability
• Strong candidates from premises liability, products liability, commercial litigation, workers’ compensation, employment or insurance coverage will also be considered
• More junior attorneys can be considered where their hands‑on experience is significantly ahead of their class year
• Someone who wants greater responsibility, trial exposure and autonomy, not simply another lateral move

Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid)
