Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities:
- Litigate real‑estate disputes in NYC Civil Court, Supreme Court, federal courts, and administrative agencies — drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and appeals
- Handle landlord‑tenant proceedings, non‑payment actions, holdovers, rent overcharge defenses, and co‑op/condo conflicts from inception to trial or settlement
- Manage complex matters like lease disputes, foreclosures, construction claims, and Article 78 challenges, coordinating with experts and negotiating resolutions
- Conduct depositions, argue motions (e.g., Yellowstone injunctions, summary judgment), and prepare for hearings/trials in high‑exposure commercial and residential cases
- Perform due diligence and strategy in distressed scenarios, collaborating across practice groups on zoning, tax certiorari, and regulatory compliance to drive client outcomes
