Duties
Handle representation of individuals and businesses in trial courts at the county, state, and federal levels
Lead and participate in depositions, mediations, and legal hearings
Draft pleadings, discovery, and motion practice tailored to property insurance disputes
Conduct settlement negotiations and strategic resolution discussions
Maintain internal oversight of files and legal project timelines
Manage client communication and case progress updates throughout litigation
Requirements
Active Texas license in good standing
At least one year of litigation experience preferred, with exposure to first-party insurance or similar practice areas
Proficiency in evaluating and managing caseload independently
Ability to meet performance metrics related to case progression and outcomes
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Admitted to the State Bar of Texas
