Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex issues to determine possible exposure to damages and devise strategies for the successful resolution of disputes. In the context of claim file management, this involves making decisions and providing advice about claims against the Company’s insureds and/or the Company.
• Review of assigned matters to ensure that the Company meets all obligations and responsibilities to insureds, third parties, regulatory authorities and the courts.
• Review of outside counsel activities to ensure that the Company and its insureds receive competent representation, services that are necessary and at a reasonable cost.
• Provide advice and counsel with regard to other general corporate matters.
• Stay current with changes to legislation, case law, rules, and regulations that directly affect the Company and the insurance industry and advise impacted branches/divisions of changes that may impact them.
• Please note that the ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship is a requirement.
