Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload involving toxic tort and asbestos claims within the insurance defense framework
• Conduct thorough legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and depositions
• Analyze complex medical and technical records
• Provide strategic legal advice and counsel to clients
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting insurance defense

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing
• 5+ years litigation experience preferred; experience in toxic tort/asbestos or insurance defense a plus
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
