The attorney will draft and review contracts, advise on HIPAA and compliance issues, assist with licensure and enrollment, and represent clients in audits and investigations, while building lasting relationships with healthcare providers and agencies.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Virginia Bar active membership.
• 1+ year in regulatory, business, or transactional law; healthcare interest encouraged.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Commitment to practical, business-minded client solutions.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and analyze contracts, policies, and legal documents for healthcare regulations.
• Counsel healthcare providers on federal and state regulatory matters.
• Assist with licensure, certification, enrollment, and operational compliance.
• Support healthcare transactions and physician/provider arrangements.
• Advise on HIPAA, reimbursement, long-term care, and healthcare employment matters.
• Represent clients in audits, investigations, appeals, and administrative proceedings.
• Prepare regulatory filings and COPN applications.
• Conduct legal research and draft client guidance.
• Work directly with healthcare clients and government agencies to resolve regulatory issues.

• Supporting healthcare transactions and physician/provider arrangements.
• Advising on HIPAA, reimbursement, long-term care, and healthcare employment matters.
• Representing clients in audits, investigations, appeals, and administrative proceedings.
• Preparing regulatory filings and submissions, including COPN applications.
• Conducting legal research, drafting client guidance, and monitoring regulatory developments.
• Working directly with healthcare clients and government agencies to resolve complex regulatory issues.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership (or eligibility) in the Virginia Bar.
• 1 year or more of experience in a regulatory, business, or transactional area of law preferred; candidates with a strong interest in healthcare law are encouraged to apply.
