Responsibilities

• Contribute to labor and employment advisory matters, including employee benefits and labor relations issues as needed.
• Assist with employment-based immigration matters as applicable.
• Communicate with clients and coordinate with internal teams to drive matters forward.

A confidential, established Texas law firm is seeking an Employment Associate to support a busy employment practice handling employer-side counseling and litigation. THE ROLE

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ years of employment law experience (litigation and/or counseling)
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Strong legal writing, attention to detail, and sound professional judgment
• Client-service mindset, professionalism, and a long-term growth orientation

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

• Experience with wage and hour matters, discrimination claims, and workplace investigations
• Familiarity with labor relations and employee benefits issues
